Advanced Learning Updates and Notes: Classes labeled ‘Not HCC/AL Eligible’ indicate that the class does not fall under the categories of math or ELA (English language arts). Students within the grade level only would request this class.

Students are now designated as HC or AL in either Math, Reading, or Both.

For example, a student listed as ALr (advanced in reading) is eligible to request an ELA class one grade level above, but would choose a grade level math class.

Please check with your counselor if you need more guidance on the updated Advanced Learning policies.
